Instructions on how to remove any remaining wax and wicks will also be included.

1. Remove Remaining Wax
Once your candle has about 1/4 inch of wax left, it’s time to refill. To clean out the old wax:

  • Fill the vessel with hot (not boiling) water—just enough to cover the wax.

  • Let sit for 15–20 minutes until the wax rises to the surface and solidifies.

  • Gently pop the wax out and discard.

  • Wipe the inside clean with a paper towel or soft cloth.

⚠️ Important: Do not use boiling water—extreme heat can crack the concrete. If the water feels too hot to touch, it’s too hot for the vessel.

2. Insert Your Refill

  • Unwrap your KGB wax refill.

  • Place it directly into the clean, dry concrete vessel. It should fit snugly—no adhesive needed.

  • Trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting.
